Paul Thuile

Paul Thuile, born in 1959 in Bolzano, lives in Gargazon /South Tyrol /Italy.
He studied at the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna.
Since 2000 a. o. Prof at the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano, Faculty of Design.
In his artistic work he is mainly concerned with drawing and photography or with the combination of these media. Paul Thuile is also curator of numerous exhibitions and books, including the South Tyrolean Provincial Exhibition 2009 "Labyrith::Freiheit".
His works were shown in: Gallery Elisabeth & Klaus Thoman /Innsbruck /Vienna , Gallery Reckermann/Cologne, Gallery Photology/Milan, Museion/Bolzano, Marta/Herford, among others
Representations at international fairs like Basel, Cologne, Brussels, Madrid, Paris, Vienna, Bologna, Milan, Turin.
Award for artistic work of the provincial capital Innsbruck.
