Interior and Exhibit Design SS23 – “Domestic Playground”

The new artistic direction of the Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen theatre invited the Interior and Exhibit Design course to create a series of devices that, conceived as the fragments of an imaginative “domestic playground,” were realised by assembling disused props found in the deposit of the theatre. In doing so, the theatre literally opens up to the city, re-staging in the foyer and in the spaces in front of its dedicated building its own elements, transfigured so that they can be used by visitors. To the project was took part students of the Faculty of Design and Arts of the Free University of Bozen under the supervision of the lecturers Davide Tommaso Ferrando and Roberto Gigliotti with the external consultancy of Eugenio Cosentino of the Parasite 2.0 studio.
