Based on the Joanna typeface developed for printing, my typeface Chianti Ermana Serif is also a very straight and fine typeface. The serifs are mainly influenced by Merlo, an interpretation of the typefaces of the Spanish stamp cutter Juan Manuel Merlo from the 18th century. It is a pure letter font. The combination of these two typefaces gives Chianti Ermana Serif a special elegance and calmness. This makes it particularly attractive and pleasant to read.
Its name is derived from both typefaces and represents their connection to each other.
