Aliubi

Aliubi nasce con l’idea di distruggere il concetto tradizionale di libro, eliminandone in parte gli elementi caratterizzanti. Non esiste un testo, né  una storia, ma solo illustrazioni apparentemente statiche che grazie alle pieghe e l’inchiostro conduttivo danno vita a personaggi immaginari, permettendo di intraprendere un viaggio alla scoperta di sé stessi, aumentando la percezione della realtà attraverso stimoli sensoriali quali colori e led.  Attraverso l’interazione con il libro, questo viene distrutto attivamente ad ogni piega, che è possibile creare solo una volta. Al traguardo della decima piega, l’oggetto creato sarà incredibilmente diverso da quello conosciuto all’inizio.

Aliubi entstand aus der Idee, das traditionelle Konzept eines Buches zu zerstören und seine charakteristischen Elemente teilweise zu eliminieren. In Aliubi gibt es keinen Text, keine Geschichte, sondern nur Illustrationen, die statisch zu sein scheinen. Doch dank der Verwendung von leitfähiger Tinte wird den imaginären Figuren, beim Falten der Seiten Leben einhauchen. Die Wahrnehmung der Realität und des Benutzens wird durch Sinnesreize wie Farben und LED-Lichter gesteigert. So kann man sich auf eine Reise der Selbstentdeckung begeben. Die aktive Auseinandersetzung mit dem Buch kann nur einmal erfolgen: das Buch wird umgewandelt und schließlich zerstört.

Aliubi was born from the idea of destroying the traditional concept of a book, partially eliminating its characterizing elements. There is no text, no story but only illustrations, that appear to be static but actually give life to imaginary characters thanks to the folds and the conductive ink. This allows you to embark on a journey of self-discovery, increasing the perception of reality through sensory stimuli such as colors and led lights. The active interaction with the book can only be done once: the book is transformed and finally destroyed, at the end of the tenth fold the object created will be incredibly different from the one known at the beginning.
