Canopée is a table-top jewelry and storage stand suitable for gathering small items and designed to collect everything you don’t know where to put.

The concept behind the conceiving of this item was prompted by a visit to the Museum of Customs and Traditions in Bruneck, where we got inspired by the history and characteristics of old traditional artifacts to develop our own design variation.

The round base, which acts as a bowl, is hollowed out to create a concavity to accommodate earrings, rings, and other jewelry that cannot be hung. The arms are all rotated in such a way as to prevent jewelry or necklaces from getting stuck or tangled when hung. On top a small circular element acting as a ‘knob’ helps the user to move and lift the stand easily and intuitively.

The intent of this object is to recreate the function of the original artifact that served as inspiration – storage and sorting – to an essential and straightforward design item composed just of a few pieces.
