The idea of the egg-shaped snack was born in 1968 for the Kinder Ferrero children’s line. The aim was to give the feeling of “living Easter every day”. The egg is made up of a milk chocolate shell and milk frosting, inside which is inserted a yellow plastic capsule-shaped shell, reminiscent of the egg’s yolk. Inside is the surprise, usually a small toy.
