Don’t wait – Nespresso Talents 2021

“Don’t wait” is a short film shot for Nespresso Talents 2021, whose theme is “Doing is everything”. Therefore, the video concept starts from a series of reflections on life and death introduced at the beginning of Andrej Tarkovsky’s film “Offret”. The first dialogue talks about how life is being constantly lived waiting for something and how it ends up being monotonous. After an opening scene on waiting characterised by a slow rhythm, are represented ways in which, instead of waiting for something to happen, people try to react and break this monotony by acting on instinct.
