Droga, Per-que-neau – “Esercizi di Stile”

Per-que-neau è basato su “Esercizi di Stile” di Raymond Queneau e consiste nel reinterpretare la stessa storia dal punto di vista formale, grafico e verbale. La versione “Droga” si presenta come un biglietto formato di piccoli quadrati che possono essere strappati, ricollegandosi ad una tipologia di stupefacenti venduti proprio come frammenti di carta da far sciogliere in bocca. Graficamente viene rappresentata una visione ideale della realtà invasa da allucinazioni psichedeliche. Il testo è riscritto dal punto di vista del protagonista sotto l’influenza di allucinogeni, risultando così bizzarro, sconnesso ed esilarante.

Per-que-neau is based on “Exercises in Style” by Raymond Queneau and it focuses on reinterpreting the same story from a formal, graphic and verbal aspect. The “Drug” version is presented as a card made up of small squares that can be torn off, referring to a type of narcotics sold as scraps of paper meant to be melted in the mouth. Graphically it represents an ideal vision of reality flooded by psychedelic hallucinations. The text is rewritten from the point of view of the protagonist under the influence of hallucinogens, resulting bizarre, disconnected and hilarious.
