FAir Tubes

A small bicycle shop in the centre of Bolzano throws away up to 15 inner tubes a day. Multiply this by the number of shops, towns and villages: how many inner tubes are thrown away every day? The world’s greenest means of transport has a very dark side. The Fair Tubes project aims to reintroduce one of the only personal waste products from cycling into a circular system to create handmade and diy items: very simple homemade products to boost individual creativity and raise awareness of invisible everyday waste.
