Cleo Serif is inspired by the font “Avenir Book“, published by Adrian Frutiger in 1988. Cleo is characterized by its diagonal stress in roundings, breacketed serifs, circular dots, high shoulder contrast and reused mirrored cuts. It is balanced and clear with a classic charater, which makes the font optimal for magazines with educational or cultural purpose. The name is inspired by Cleopatra, the iconic queen of Egypt.
