Diario Sans is a modern typeface, which is based on the Univers Lt Std 65 Bold, part of a large sans-serif typeface family designed by Adrian Frutiger and released in 1957. It is characterized by a big x-height, straight cuts, medium contrast and rounded shapes, as for example in lowercase letters. Its peculiarity is some slanted letters, which give to the typeface more dynamic look.
This typeface is named after “Diario”, it is dedicated to all those who keep a diary and designed for writing notes, thoughts, and ideas.
