Libreville Serif is a modern serif typeface, which is based on the Univers Lt Std 65 Bold, part of a large
sans-serif typeface family designed by Adrian Frutiger and released in 1957. Overall it has quite a low contrast and compared to the x-height, its ascenders and descenders are quite short. It is characterized by bracketed serifs and teardrop terminals.
This typeface is named after Libreville, the capital of Gabon, which is a country on the coast of Central Africa, and it is dedicated to all world travelers.
