To design Midnight Serif I was inspired by my own handwriting, hence the particularly tall ascenders. I also wanted to give it an elegant yet strong look, that’s why I chose unbracketed tapered serifs. What characterizes Midnight is the diagonal cut that appears in every letter with round shapes.
