The illumination of an entrance does not always focus purely on the light itself. Throughout my exploration of various entrance lighting solutions, I have come to realization that a truly exceptional light is one that evokes a sense of invitation without overwhelming with its intensity. It is this perspective that guided my creative journey in designing Fusila.

Fusila uses a spiral shape to conceal the light source, to achieve a diffusion effect that prevents glare and ensures a gentle, ambient illumination that bathes the entrance in a welcoming glow. My main goal was to find a contrast and harmony between aesthetics and functionality. By working more with the light then with the shape of the lamp, shifting the boundaries of what I considered a lamp design. The shape is rather simple, technical and focused on being made as an extrusion with variable sizes. However, the lighting effect becomes the main element.
