“Il geranio di san Giovanni” is an illustrated story behind the Italian tradition regarding the geranium flower on the night of St John: on this particular night it is typical to hang a geranium twig upside down in order to expose it to the miraculous dew that would make it flourish until winter. Since I didn’t found the precise origin of this rite, I decided to invent the story at the origin of the tradition myself.
