“kiebl.” is a modern piece of furniture inspired by traditional coopery. Albeit its century-old roots, it offers a new freshness and a more contemporary interpretation of craftsmanship and use. The everyday helper „kiebl.“ might serve as a wastepaper basket or laundry bin but can also be turned upside down to become a stool.
The simple yet ingenious construction, held together only by rope’s tension, makes “kiebl.” accessible, understandable and intuitive.
Not only is „kiebl.s“coming to life heavily relying on tension, but the product itself also bears a certain tension in itself. The combination of locally-sourced solid wood, natural felt, and colorful rope radiates coziness and down-to-earthness, but at the same time helps “kiebl.” to achieve its modern and bright character.
