The tools company KNIPEX has been founded by Carl Gustav Putsch in Cronenberg, Germany. “Cobra” water pump pliers have been realised in 1984. These can be adjusted through a pressure mechanism, therefore adapting to objects of any shape and providing the optimal hand fit. It
is made of Chrome vanadium electric steel, forged, multi stage oil-hardened.
