Maga Circe

While searching for a plant story I came across the story of  the enchantress Circe, in Homer’s Odyssey, and I started searching for the science behind her enchantments. After some researches I found that her magic powers were deeply rooted in botany. When he bewitched the crew of Ulysses’ ship, turning them into animals, she may have just used some Stramonium (or Jimsonweed), a common plant with heavy hallucinogenic effects. At the end I decided to use this story as the optional project and turned it into 4 different posters.
