Model Making – Instrument Combination

The delivery of this project, to be made entirely out of cardboard, was to create a hybrid by combining two instruments. The final creation had to be a minimum of two meters and ergonomic.
For this two-week project, I decided to challenge myself a bit. I wanted to make something big and I wanted the whole thing to be supported by my shoulders. In fact, I chose to combine a ‘band drum’ with a bass clarinet. The former, an aesthetically simple instrument, but complex in terms of stability, while the second one, a more complex instrument in terms of aesthetics, given all its details, but simpler in terms of stability.
