Naturetools

During a workshop with the famous Italian illustrator Guido Scarabottolo we explored the possibilities that different tools can give us in the context of illustration. In particular we realized our own tools with the things that we had at home. The first tool is called “Primitive brush” and is realized with a little branch, some dog hair and raffia. The second one is a stamp made of a cutted and engraved potato. The final result in an animation where the signs of the two tools are combined in different ways to produce a series of characters that constantly move and transform themselves.
