Constellations made from gelatinous seeds of a tomato

David Horvitz used to take a ton of photos with digital cameras during the early 2000s. When the visual image completely lost its value, he created “Nostalgia”, a photo album with no trace of actual photos in it: he left the description of them instead. Our aim was to choose between the selected phrases and rethink our favorite by drawing five versions of it on post-its, thus giving them a visual identity once again. I liked the one with the constellations best, and tried to build a story on how a sudden manifestation of tomato seeds can slide into one’s imagination.

A tomato just exploded on the dining table. You are lazy, and stare at it for a while before cleaning the mess up. Maybe you’ll get inspired, maybe you’ll start mentally connecting the seeds in imaginary drawings.
