Make your kitchen more interesting with GEOM: a family consisting an oven glove and a drying towel with a certain twist.
This family of kitchen textiles is recognizable by its three main design elements: their unique shapes, the vibrant colors and the ornamental stitching. Starting with the shapes, the purpose was to design a more elegant and minimalistic shaped glove in order to get a better fit for the hand. The hexagonal shape of the glove fulfills exactly this. Following that, using vibrant colors to give it a bright and playful image, was a natural choice to do.
The usual grid-like stitching on oven gloves here was replaced by sometimes simplified patterns of traditional tyrolean ornaments, which I got the inspiration from our excursion into the Volkskundemuseum in Innsbruck. The endless color and pattern combinations make these products even more exciting to use in your kitchen. Therefore, functional and an aesthetical qualities come together and create something modern yet culturally connected for every one of us.
Trixi is a 3-legged stool out of wickerwork and furthermore a very versatile object in your house. Therefore the name Trixi: tri for the three legs and x for the unlimited possibilities of use.
The uniqueness of this object lays foremost in its asymmetrical shape, consisting of two smaller and one bigger cutout. This specific shape not only does guide you to a correct sitting position regarding the direction but also facilitates the sitting itself as there is enough space for the feet to slide under. A comfortable sitting experience is a given. However, as the name already mentioned, Trixi can be used as much more than just a stool. Use it as a coffeetable, a footrest, a magazine and book holder or even a garden kneeler. Adding the fascinating structure and qualities of the wickerwork, Trixi is a lifelong companion now also for your home.
