Vegetables standardized, but they also have a real shape that we often don’t even know. We see standard sizes, smooth, shiny surfaces and lack of branding. The superficial obsession with beauty does not stop at fruit and vegetables. This makes deviants from the norm practically worthless.
This book is about the diversity of vegetable and fruit shapes, it is meant to enlighten and encourage us to appreciate and buy even shapeless vegetables.
