Wenn die Berg Streitn, by Anni Kraus – Redesigned

Redesign of a poetry book dating from 1960. The concept behind this work is to transform an old publication of the South Tyrolean tradition into a book for children. The main changes concerned the book format and illustrations. I chose a sans serif font clear and easy to read, while the illustrations show the places featured in the poems contained in the book. The aim is to bring children into contact with the territory of South Tyrol and the town of Insbruck. The paper that was used to make the book is a very thick Munken paper (300g), to put in the hands of children a solid object and with which they can play and discover. For the same reason a stitch binding was chosen.
