“X” – Clock

“X” (roman number) are two different clock, one that can be hanged on the wall and another one that will be placed on a surface.

The idea was to combine design with figurative art, finding a way to enhance the potential of the artists.

The wall clock version, consist in a rough piece of wood dimensioned  600mm x 150/170mm, were it will be applied the mechanism of the clock. Attached to that a perfect circular element, with diameter 400mm.

Instead, the table one,  consist in a small circular piece of wood, with diameter 200mm, were it will be applied the mechanism of the clock. Attached to that, to keep it standing, two triangular legs.

The design is balance; The imperfect is contrasted with the perfection of the circle, as the perfection of the hours will be opposed to the artistic outside of the box paint.

They are manufactured in ash, a light coloured, resistant and durable wood, that will be decorated to give life and brightness to the object.
