Water is a gonna be the issue of the next century. Access to clean water is a luxury that is taken for granted in European countries but will play an important role in the future.
During this semester, thanks to the proximity of the city of Bolzano to rivers, I decided to explore different ways of filtering water to make it drinkable.
In doing so I focused on the use of a section of branch of Gymnosperms trees or non-flowering plants that will force the water to pass through the pores, which can entrap contaminants and therefore function as a water filter.
