This is a movement created during the visual communication project: designing for democracy

As a passionate alpinist and outdoor enthusiast, I decided to make a party where I can fight against glacier melting and climate change. These topics are very important for me, so my movement POLAR UNION focus on stop glacier melting/climate change and plastic pollution.

Wherever we are, we are connected to Glaciers. Glaciers provides us with the oxygen we breathe, the climate that sustains us and the water we drink. We need healthy and strong glacial areas for our own survival. However, glaciers are melting and dying because of us. Additionally we contaminate oceans and mountains with our plastic waste, which is killing wildlife, devastating mountains and oceans – threatening the health of our planet.

Nature provides us with everything we need. Its is therefore our responsibility to show gratitude by taking Action to safe her.
The good news: As described, everyone can be part of our movement and make a small contribution with huge positive impact.

POLAR UNION is building a collective global effort and aims to broaden people horizon.

We believe in simple actions to address complex problems.
