The Human Kind
The Human Kind is a movement that focuses on spreading kindness, and operates on the belief that if people would be kinder towards each other then the world would be a nicer place. Kindness, if practised on a global scale, would eliminate negative competition, which in turn would create a sense of unity amongst disparate social groups. People would work together, support and empower each other which, again, would have the effect of a general positive vibe.
But in order to act in kindness you need a certain level of education – education of things that really matter. This doesn’t apply solely to school children, but to adults and elderlies too. The Human Kind aims to promote awareness of things such as:
- Food security and Hunger
- Climate change and sustainability
- The internet and its future
- Gender equality
- Healthcare, general wellbeing, and mental health
In order to raise this awareness, there will be public talks, large-scale events, and workshops aimed at providing people with useful and actionable information.
There will also be opportunities provided to join charity projects aimed at providing aid for people in need.
But with all that said, being kind isn’t about making groundbreaking gestures. Kindness can be shared through the smallest actions: offering a cup of tea, complimenting a friend, smiling at a stranger. In this way kindness can be found even in the most seemingly insignificant details, which in the end can change world, because details matter.
